is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a system of medicine first used over 200 years ago. It was
discovered by a German physician, Samuel Hahnemann. It uses the principle
that disease can be cured by using a medicine, highly diluted, which if
given to a healthy person would produce similar symptoms to the disease.
This is known as "like cures like".
This system of healing takes into account the whole of the person and not just
the symptoms that may be showing at the time. Therefore, several people
with the same symptoms will not always get the same remedy.
What is the treatment like?
Face to face consultations usually last about an hour. During this time, I will ask you questions about your family history, your health, likes and dislikes, sleep patterns, what sort of person you are etc.
Once your case has been taken, I will study your case history and post your remedy in approximately 1 week. The remedy usually comes in the form of small pills, but sometimes a liquid remedy may be prescribed.
Follow up, face to face meetings will last about 30 mins. At this time,
I will be able to assess what the remedy has achieved and, at this time,
another remedy may or may not be prescribed.
